Independent Consultant - The Partnering Initiative

  • Developed a strategy and toolkit to launch partnership training in Madagascar through the Partnering with Governments (PwG) program. Built a foundation for the PwG program through initiating partnerships with the private sector, NGO's, the Presidency, and the National Leadership Institute of Madagascar
  • Developing a toolkit based upon the 5 PwG pilot programs and similar efforts by TPI to facilitate developing national strategies to advance engagement in cross sector partnerships

Private Sector Engagement Specialist: UNDP Trinidad and Tobago

  • Developed a strategy positioning UNDP as a leader in growing and directing the local practice of CSR; initiated two projects to advance a national framework to drive CSR:
    • Designed, financed and launched the CSR Mapping Project for T&T as a precursor to launching a Global Compact Local Network.
    • Designed and delivered CSR Luncheon Series which brought together key business leaders to drive CSR through discussion of the private sector's response to T&T's social challenges; delivered keynote presentation on the UN Global Compact
  • Identified key multinational and local corporations suitable for partnership with UNDP; initiated relationships and brokered partnerships. Finalized partnership with the South Chamber of Commerce to develop national CSR framework and implement the CSR Mapping Project
  • Delivered several seminars and presentations on CSR and cross sector partnerships
